Sure. Multiple things have lead to the now crashed UOR economy. First the lack of upkeep on the shard (new plat rewards never added in 6 years.) Second a group who openly admit to doing over 114 harrowers (that’s 114k in plat alone) has devalued plat to being next to worthless. Several months ago @Erlkonig nade a thread about plat prices. He was called a tin foil hat wearing neckbeard for daring to question market dynamics, as the current trade forums show he was right. Even @Cynic admits he was right. Third recent developments in discord bot warfare have left long time players who are extremely wealthy questioning the future health of the server, they are liquidating there items for gold.

Well that concerning. Was hoping this place would stick around for a while.

UOR will easily last another 6 years. If you look at the charts Platinum looks like it might bounce soon. Unfortunately it might be a dead cat bounce.

Economics work in peaks and valleys. I'm new blood in this shard but I still believe that bounce or "Dead Cat bounce" will happen. The community will dictate the version of said bounce. I've seen nothing but dedicated players on this shard.

The shard will survive any of these said antics. People push themselves away, and then new people washed up on shore. It'll happen again.

A few noobs showing up that have a demand for ethereals and blessed runebooks won't create the bounce. To create a stable platinum economy any new functional items need to be desired by everyone and have limited charges. Otherwise what you end up with is stagnation in demand over time. A) Repeat purchases or B) A chance at something uber.

id keep dumping plat on a random hue blessed runebook if there was a small chance at a rare hue you cannot get with dye.

Don't you just buy the runebook bless deed for plat though? You don't actually get a random hue runebook do you? If so, I'm not seeing it.
