While the chaos is great. Can you guys just organize some real group fights and record that, go like 10 rounds. I’d much rather watch that content. I see tamers & traps here which is clever in a sense but you already have numbers advantage & dragons why is that necessary?
Your guild always repeats that same argument. If it takes "half of the shard" to get even numbers with SoL/CPU, maybe you shouldn't have created a group so big that only fights with such numbers? At this point, your members basically represent the other half of the active "PVP" population.
Numbers have always counted for something in a fight. So has the element of surprise, and geography. All were on display and used to some effect a few nights ago. I don't much care for zerg tactics in games either and I would like to see some straight up field fights, but one can hardly fault a group for trying to find every advantage to win, especially when an enemy shows up unannounced and knocks on their door. Now on the other hand, there is something to be said for humility and perspective. But this is a forum for a 20-year-old video game so I should probably lower my expectations on those fronts.
I watched random bits of the video Great place for a fight Hopefully I find time to watch the full video
I'm sorry our group enjoy playing together. Maybe you should find a group that enjoy playing with you
"half the shard" is a low effort retort to a low brow argument The last page and a half of this thread represents the same circ(ular) jerking that's been going on half the year. Seeking/asking/demanding fair and equal balance is mental masturbation. "I" realize that now. Come, realize the truth with me. Things will change, always does. Till then you can either deal with it or not. Either way, this thread is not the place to gain ground. I leave you with a guide. It's old but always relevant.
So in a fight between two groups, one with eight and another with seven, the group with eight should win every time? I feel like you're trolling but I also feel like...you might actually be serious.
I was there for this! It taught me the value of Hiding. I watched the whole thing on my bard without getting merked once.
Since you were reasonable with me, I have a question for you. Why does every PVP group in this server has to fight your guild under your terms, but the inverse is not true? You can't deny that "we" have fought you in underdog scenarios multiple times, but whenever you guys get in that same position, you simply give up. Most of the times, you don't step out of your comfort zone, because you have decided it's not worth a try. I came to accept that my main beef with your guildmates is not because whatever people "hate" you for, but due to one simple world: reciprocity, or lack of.
The server population is to small to think like that. Shit like this is part of what drove me away from this game. & while yes we did use numbers when we had them sometimes but not consistently & usually if we outnumbered groups we would beg members to stay back, cause we knew nobody’s gonna want to consistently fight out numbered. I remember several nights @Invoker & I for example, would be like well you guys already have 4 to their 3 , well just stay back or whoever was logged on at that time. Simple as that. Felucca is ruthless but theres unwritten rules or a mutual respect usually between real pvp groups. Otherwise people just get zerged and logoff lol.
It's like this.... less than 3 years ago.... my main group had myself.... Funeral..... and 1 or 2 other guys...... we were on every single night pvp'n.... we would lose some, win some, and life was good..... the more established pvp guys at that time ran together and would fight us and use every single advantage in the game to beat us.......*disclaimer...... they usually won all even fights...... even without those advantages...... if we would ever drop anyone..... they would call in or alt us to death...... then CPU came in and we spent months fighting those guys who were also experiencing the same thing from the more established guys....... so we teamed up...... to even out the BS...... since that time we have had big numbers,,,,, small numbers,,,,,, even had half of our group break off in secret to fight us when PVP was slow..... (great fights)...... Then we get into the IDOC game which has been controlled by a small group forever and we build the numbers of our guys up a bit...... truth is this..... our top notch guys can compete with anyone..... but we are all mostly the same age guys..... who enjoy the same music..... the same topics.... and most of us drink day in and day out..... UOR pvp is our CHEERS...... everyone knows your name in our discord....... also with that being said....... sometimes we get bored and decided to ZERG a bit too hard..... LOVE UOR
