I would like to suggest a change in the murder count and reporting system. Currently only known murderers (reds) cannot report and count if they get killed, for obvious reasons. I suggest that this principle be extended to anyone who has 1 or more long term murder counts. This way, if you use your blue tag to pk someone you then cannot report any counts until you yourself haven’t worn off the count. Thoughts?
I almost always have counts, your saying anyone can PK me without recourse? But if this were implemented i would personally, in nearly every encounter with someone, be looking them up on the website to confirm I can blue PK them without getting a count.
That's exactly what i am suggesting. Would discourage players like Deathboy and others from pking without repercussions other than being logged in for 40 hours
Giving murder counts is the only way PWN can win a fight please do not take that away from them it's all they got.

I'm 100% on board for an upgraded bounty system. Our current one is way too basic and not harsh enough on murderers. Having a 15 character limitation makes it way too easy to just have multiple PKs just rotating one sitting on the bench burning counts. If the shard had a greater population of blue activity outside the guard zones handing out more counts I think the current system wouldn't be as bad but definitely is in need of some improvement. I once played on another realm not to be named with hands down the best bounty system I believe this game has ever seen. I would like to post that systen as a suggestion but fear it would be frowned upon to do so.
There are so many occasions in which decent folk need to take counts. These people aren't opportunistic blue pks such as those your suggested change aim to hamper, but people that for example have unwanted visitors in their cy, or people who are looting their kills, or any host of reasons. So they take a count, and that opens them up to be completely run over with no recourse? The idea is so prone so fuckery.
@OP this will negatively affect and confuse new players. Leave it as-is. We all make mistakes, don't punish everyone because of a few rotten eggs. Point being sometimes new players accidentally get a count. If the change you propose was added they'd unknowingly be forfeiting their ability to cast murder counts on scumbags. I don't agree. If you accidentally take a count, you leave that char afk for 40 hours. So what? We all have characters logged in 24 hours regardless, what difference does it make to simply use that char as your afk platinum farmer for..... less than 2 days... Totally agree with Evil Dead. Being red on this server is waaaaay too easy. The population isn't big enough to self regulate, so you can simply run around with a few buddies on reds and control events/spawns/idocs/etc. On a server where all skill gain can be macro'd, even stat loss doesn't mean much.
Your speaking as someone who has played UO Ren for a while now. I was talking about new players who may not know or understand this. Just because some of the vets are assholes doesn't mean that potential new players should be punished. Is that more clear? --- If dev's only focus on what veteran players QQ about every week. It would create a horrible experience for new players. And the same is true if they focused on new players QQ it would be horrible for vets. This thread is totally pointless and it's a waste of time.

I believe there would be more Blues playing the game if there were not huge PK gank groups every hour on the hour, taking anything of value and res killing, then dragging monsters to their corpse so they go through hell to get back to it, then do it another 7 times in 1 day. Yeah I believe that may have something to do with how hard it is to start on this server.
I don't think that is true. Why would someone play uo:r era (straight felluca) if they wanted to be safe from harm from other players? Yes, there are extremes, but if you don't get some thrill of possibly losing your hard earned work... why here, why this era?
