This thread will serve as the planning area for the rewards that will become available from the Clean up Britannia (CuB) system and the copper rewards system. These rewards will fall into two categories.

    Transferable rewards
Transferable rewards can be purchased only with copper coins earned ingame via the Clean up Britannia system and can be freely traded between players.
    - Singing Crystal Balls (9 Different Variations)
    Singing.png
Note: Random Sounds, Blacksmith Theme, Nature Theme, Wildlife Theme, Alchemy Theme, Tavern Theme, Music Theme, Spooky Theme,Combat Theme

    - Disturbing Portrait - Changes when double clicked

    - Creepy Portrait - Changes when double clicked

    - Unsettling Portrait
    Picture3.png

    - Animated Fire Trap - Blows fire when a player walks nearby
    FireTrap.png

    - Short Range Teleportation Tiles
    Teleporter.png
Note: These items can be used to bridge normally non-bridgeable houses that are 1 tile apart. There will be a variety of conditions in place for placement, linking and functionality. But in essence they provide a magical connection between normally non connected houses. This will also be a player managed item, requiring no staff assistance.

    - House Placement Surveyor
    [IMG]
Note: This will be a charged item (using a small amount of copper) that will employ the Britannia surveyors department to isolate up to 50 tiles which are blocking your house placement attempt. These locations will be indicated by a colored, translucent, timed item visible to everyone in the location you attempted to place the house. Players can use this information to understand more clearly why their house placement attempt failed. These items will be also made available on the test server.

    - Treasure Pile Addons
    TreasurePile.gif
Note: This is a home addon with 3 versions available (small, medium and large)

    Non Transferable
Transfer limited items can be purchased with copper earned from our copper rewards system or using copper deposited to your account via the profile menu.
    - The Renaissance Bestiary Book
    Bestiary1.png Bestiary2.png Bestiary3.png
Note: This item will contain an index of every monster, NPC, Boss, Champion, Holiday creature in the world. Players will use the book to unlock each detail page for the related monster. Once unlocked the book will begin to track information about your interaction with these monsters (currently total kills, total tames). Players can also see spawn locations, rare drops, eating habbits, various skill checks, and other useful information for any creature with only a few clicks. These books will be character locked and non transferable items.

    - Character Name Changes
    - Character Sex Changes
    - Account Recovery (this is more a recommendation than a cost, given the time required for account recoveries)
    - Character Transfers between accounts.
    - Courtyard Inspection Services
    - Courtyard Security Services
    - Vendor Management (Inspection, Move, Retirement)

    - Fortress Moats (7 Designs)
    - Fortress Bridges (Allows courtyard control for moats)
    - Large Keep Moats (7 Designs)
    - Large Keep Docks (allows courtyard control for moats)

    - House Flags

Note: Purchasing home additions will apply a time transfer restriction to the related house depending on the purposes. Houses with these addons can eventually be transferred but the timer is reset with each purchase.

We have a few more plans at the moment internally that are still being discussed that will be added soon. At this point we are looking for more player input on the current ideas and new ideas that would suit the design of the program.

In order for the system to work well as a permanent system for the server we need to make sure the rewards require work to obtain, and are worth the trouble. These also need to be for the most part a different class of items than you might find in the standard reward store.

The "Renaissance Bestiary Book" made me think of the following: Would it be possible to have a similar book that privately showed you (and you only) your realtime player profile data? This would be the same type of thing that is displayed on uorenaissance.com profile page, however would add the following benefits:

    - You could see your realtime fame/karma without having to wait for the website to update
    - You could equip a weapon and check its durability without having to wait for the website to update for each weapon
    - You could always view your private kill or death log

I and every other thief need details about the teleporters. If their access can be set to owner only or friend only, then the mechanics of house looting might be seriously impacted.

I doubt it and I wouldn't want that kind of access limitation even as a non thief. Would make it so easy to throw a small house next to main. Wouldn't even need to worry about locks anymore even on the small house.

wonder if the tele tiles can also be used in-house, lets say from ground floor to 1st floor, or even roof so the ladders can be taken down (i ve always found them fugly)

I think he has previously indicated no, since there were so few castles. Although they do seem to be making a come back!

The Clean up Brit system is based around a craftable item for your house. It would need to be locked down and you would minimally need friend level access to the house to use it.

Initially not. We can veer deeply into trammel and other problems with that. Our core goal is allowing bridged connections between houses 1 tile apart east/west. Depending on how this goes we can explore additional situations.

That's the plan, but we will have to come up with some sort of design for them. Given there are so few castles it might be delayed a bit from the initial system.

They would function much like the ladder/stool method works for existing houses. There has been some discussion on access level controls for them but no decision has been made yet.

Forward looking counters are about the limit of what I can store ingame. The stuff on the website is based on a database of over 50,000,000 items. It is possible we could one day add an ingame profile book, or simply expand the [profile menu. But the data we can store ingame will be limited.

The Bestiary will work because it will be a purchased item, at a decent cost, limiting the amount of them in the world that roughly require a mini database with 800 datapoints possible each.

If you can see it on the website, I don't mind trying to make it accessible ingame however.

Note: Arms lore can be used to target a character and get almost exactly the same information available from the website.

The teleport tiles: will these strictly go from house to house (east-west) or could they be used within a house too (east-west, north-south, up-down)?

@Chris - just a comment, and obviously I'm a little biased as a thief here, but I don't see many folks clammering for access controls. To the contrary, I see great posts by @LanDarr and others in the thieving thread about their appreciation for a good house loot. I hope these teleporters are implemented without controls

Some really amazing stuff! I love the Bestiary Book. However, it seems to be based off the website which has incorrect information about Animal and Monster Hitpoints (bug report). For example, that info screen shot dragon shows 478-495 HP when its really 795-825 HP, all other information seems to be correct ;)

The initial restriction would be the 1 tile house gap in a straight east/west line.

Yea, I just exported enough information to test it. The live thing will be more accurate.
