How long does it take to train lockpicking from 95.0-GM via Dungeon chests?

    Small update on gains:

    Started running dungeons chests at 95.0/94.7 (shown/real). I bought detect hidden from NPC to make sure that I am able to open lvl 4 chests

    Day 1: +0,6 ~2 runs* to 95.6/95.3
    Day 2: +0,6 ~2 runs* to 96.2/95.9
    Day 3: +1,0 ~4 runs* to 97.2/97.0
    Day 4: +0,4 ~1.5 runs* to 97.6/97.5
    Day 5: +0,4 ~3 runs* to 98.0/97.9

    The first runs took me quite long to get used to the spots. Now I am bruising through them relativley fast. (I am a provo mage with hiding)

    I also dropped detect hidden as soon as I was able to open lvl chests without it. So on some chests I get multiple fails, meaning multiple chances to gain.

    So far the skill gain is acceptable.

    *1 run means I go trough 27 lvl 4 chests. Sometimes I have to skip chests because they did not respawn yet or are already opened. I also loot basically everything via macro and sell it for shitloads of money via marked runes at NPCs and sell macro. This streches the time a little so that the chests can respawn and I basically can do the run endlessly. I would assume that I get 3-4k gp every 2-3 chests O_O. I would esitmate that it takes ~30 minutes to do one full run.

    Someone else has been doing them at the same times I try and every one I go to is unlocked already. So literally forever when that happens.

    This sometimes happens to me as well. But first they seem to never go to each chest and after a while when you are constitant with the right chest respawn timing you take over the whole run. With this I never have problems to continously run chests.

    For level 5 and 6 treasure chests you need 100.0 LP (real skill)!

    You have 2 options:

    Option 1: Either you go the hard way and train LP to 100.0 via lvl 4 dungeon chests.

    Option 2: Or you raise detect hidden (dh), since it gives a bonus to LP in the following way: Bonus = (dh skill) / 20. So with 100 dh you get a bonus of 5.0 LP! So if you have 95.0 LP (real skill) and 100.0 DH you can open lvl 5 and lvl 6 chests. Here lies the reason why people start their chars with 10 dex and lock it immediately since dex gives a bonus to LP shown skill, which you want to avoid! Because wenn you reach 95.0 LP (shown skill) and you have for example 100 dex, your real skill in LP is maybe only at 93.8 (or so). Even with 100 dh and +5.0 bonus to LP you then are only at 98.8 real skill and cannot open lvl 5/6 chests!

    I am going the hard way because I want my treasure hunter to have the following skills:

    GM Carto
    GM LP
    GM Magery
    GM Meditation
    GM Music
    GM Provo
    GM Hiding

    So he can do treasure chests on his own.
