Life is crazy, and i have found myself back on this awesome shard! I started playing here years back and life got in the way of UO yet again... So... I have a great head start thanks to this awesome community for keeping accounts around! I was able to log into all 3 of my old accounts no problem. Here is my situation, I have a few characters I obviously spent time training but when i look at their skills, I wonder what the hell i was thinking for said character. I need to figure out what build to finalize on these characters that are going to be most beneficial to me early on, money making and establishing my accounts/crafters/ect. I am sure i went with healing and melee combat on all these characters in the beginning so i could make some gold to train magery and whatnot. The Avatar STR-85, DEX-92, INT-40 healing-100 lumberjack-69 magery-100 meditation-74 mining-55 swordsmanship-100 tactics-100 anatomy-100 Dextros STR-85, DEX-100, INT-40 healing-91 resistspells-50 fencing-100 parrying-55 tactics-100 anatomy-100 Joan Jett STR-85, DEX-100, INT-40 healing-90 magery-49 musicianship-100 fencing-100 tactics-100 hiding-100 provocation-100 anatomy-60 The Avatar = possible Tank Mage? suggestions? no idea what i was doing with mining and everything? i think someone was helping me make this character, possible melee/magic/miner? no clue. Dextros = Pure Dexxer? or should this be my tank mage since hes starting with 50 res spell? again im at a loss what would be most beneficial early on. Joan Jett = Provo mage? I have the most playtime on a hiding provomage as my treasure-hunter/PVE/moneymaker in the past. (something to consider) Any and all helpful advice welcome, looking for direction for this shard. Also looking for some people/guild to join up with once i get a little more situated. Thanks!!!
The Avatar - looks like you were aiming for a battle miner which can net tons of $$. May want to stick with that build. Dextos - Can stick with those skill, even on a dexxer resist is futile if your out in the field Joan Jett - skills look ok. I more of a purist when it comes to skills and like to 7x gm things but I know partial skills can work just as well if played right. As for all character stats. I would sacrifice dex to max STR/HP on all 3 of them. Maxxing HPs is a must in UO imo. On Dextros may just want to go 100/100/25 if you aren't planning on magery
Yeah that sounds about right, i probably will stick with The Avatar as battle miner, im sure i can find a build or guide as im not familiar with that character. For dextros im not sure what ill do im sure ill figure out. For Joan jett i will def be cleaning that build up. i like to GM everything too :/ Will have to work on the stats as well. thanks! will do thanks.
