Look the idea was good... i have lots of fun...
But this was a hybrid of a cool chaotic/random fight. I am still trying to understand. Who was that guys inside the house looting? how they get access?
If he open the access to the house just for a private friends club, this could become very ridiculous to me. But if the guys who got that gate to loot was really random newbs that find that gate by accident, it was brilliant.

He gated in new players and let them cherry pick while everyone else was outside taking counts and releasing drakes.

I'm pleased with how this went. While I'm certainly not arrogant enough to believe that my earlier opposition to simply dropping the house influenced his decision, I'm happy to know that it's very likely most of the people who got his riches are decent folks.

My take away from this, SOF is alive and I hope they will get active on factions we need the competitive factions going!
The system is definitely not broken, Minax has been having a blast for 4 weeks now and people need to stop crying about it. Lets go SOF CALLING YOU OUT!

Com and Minax have been doing the vast majority of the fighting. Com presence has been good as well. And the fights have been clean and fun.

Some of them was not the kind of player that i consider "new"(my referential is weak, i just have 1 year of shard)... anyway, it was his stuffs and he can do whatever.
For one night he brought life to the shard... and he deserves all the credits.
I was very stoned to realize those guys inside the house was not reorganizing the stuff, but gating out all that shit too late... at this time i had a nihilist insight: I felt like a starving insect trying to reach the meat of a dead animal... competing against other insects for the best place to feed. And after the red group came(like pink flood or U2 coming to the stage in the beginning of the show, with that thriller atmosphere created by Air`s initiative) i realize i was not in the in the end of the predatory scale.. Those new insects, bigger than us, was just waiting te right moment (wen we, small and frenetic insects, got too excited to realize that we was the main course of that banquet).... and it was good... thats is the spirit!

Wrong, there were 7 new players and 2 veterans. None of who were from CoM. Zyler and Majestic were the veterans and the new players were vetted by them, personally.

I am glad the party worked out and brought some enjoyment Friday evening. I had fun preparing. I only told the selected few, minutes before the gate opened what the plan was.

The ORIGINAL plan was to have a gate open at the front door, that led to the fire pit death room, at the SAME time I opened the bank gate, so that the murderers outside killing everyone would rush in (thinking it was for inside) then they would get insta killed lol.

I just didn't have enough time as I got home later than expected.

I received all your private messages guys and I appreciate the kind words, I really do. I also appreciate the comments here. Some think I made the post for attention, and argued on IRC for attention, those are the same people that will pick a fight with wall for standing too close. You'll never win with those guys and it doesn't bother me.

Every player I grabbed up has been on this shard less then 3 months. That I know of. I know one for sure is on his second week. I grabbed 5 people. 3 of which had young tags I have seen in recent weeks. The other two were grabbed from ocello. There were deff new players in those gates.

It was cool what you did, I had a fun time hiding in terror watching the madness ensue - in hopes of a priceless grab!

I will keep up the good fight and work toward my goal of an ethy! Better earned than given i guess they say.
