Not to my knowledge had a convo after all the shit with the fake runes. Was advised that it will be remedied by removing the pens.

Can anyone confirm they have in the last week or two received a runebook pen from the HC lotto?

anyways, i can confirm the pet still works for us normal end users.
i havent burned the charge but the pen seems to work. (system message to target the original book)

now that this discussion has gone like 30 different ways what I am advising to John Q Public of UOR is that the prices pens have been sold at per charge in the past has drastically changed. So be aware so you don't undervalue the pens that are currently out in rotation.

I have 16 charges of (in 4 pens).
Pm me with how much you would pay for. If you offer me a good price, they would be yours.

Someone buy all the pens up, make a few copies of the Malaas and Tram runes, then pump out books worth.
Make them useless and worthless so Chris will put the pens back into rotation.

Imagine removing a very functional item because of rare runes?

Or imagine crying in outrage when you have 100s of millions yet are upset about owning 1/6 of a specific rune.

I know right!! Should be able to scam people out of millions....damn people trying to play fair have to ruin it for everyone.

I have 3 or 4 of these. Can somebody give me the cliff notes on the drama or point me to the thread? I’m guessing you can use the pens to copy and old tune book that has a marked tune to a CY or some place we can no longer get to?

Couple of people sold some runes, then I sold some runes, and someone tried to say I “duped” them. Then it was uncovered that you can copy malas/trammel runes with a runebook pen.

The funniest part to me, is that one individual sold their trammel rune, bought my malas rune and said they didn’t need/want my trammel because they already had one (which they just sold).

Anyways, to get back on topic, runebook copy pens should be worth a significant amount now that they are no longer being rewarded as prizes for HC raffle
