can someone please tell me exactly what they do, and how they are used? for instance, I used a shadow gargoyle shovel, in a cave, on a shadow vein.. and it said this was not the right spot.. someone please tell me exactly how to use it.
The shovel works pretty good when you're killing zombies or other dirt based monsters. Also pretty effective at bashing a farmer's head in... But I can't say it would be any good against a gargoyle. Used one to bury some Mare heads behind an outhouse once. They were starting to stink and attract mongbats. I'm just trying to bump this topic because I believe that it can rise to greatness.
FYI, There are no stupid questions, just stuoid answers. The shovel will spawn a ore mob of the same metal type as the shovel. You will spawn a mob on each use with the expectation of a filed attempt normally achieving a double spawn on the next use and the last use giving a lord spawn. You do require to be in a cave area for these to work, however your digging location can be outside of that area and you do not require any skill in mining to use these. Enjoy!
