Paying 500k firm. Before you get all wound up about the price, do some research and consider the facts. There are currently 36 of these books in existence - well over double the amount of any other spellbook out there. Spooky spellbooks are the next closest in numbers with 16 currently in existence and more spawning soon. Spooky books are selling for around 1 mil right now. I see your reasoning I would factor into it that new books will never be available.. In two years could be 30 spooky books and only 25 mystics

There are 36 full mystic spellbooks in existence. I posted that link as a reference. Even if in two years there are somehow only 25 (if 11 people trash barrel them??) I'd still offer 500k. When spooky book counts hit that amount I agree that they'll be about the same price. On that note It would sure be nice if some of this stuff was a bit more regulated like books have been in the past. Bottom line is there are a shit ton of the mystic spellbooks. More than double any other spellbook. It's all about supply and demand - i can see how that might take a bit to comprehend for folks who paid so much for the small books.
Considering people were paying about 100k to buy the individual mystic books that they were missing I’m doubtful you will get a mystic spell book for that price anytime soon. Good luck tho!
Wellllllllll, I wasn't going to bust the bubble but here it goes. Most mystic books sold for 100k some 200k, many references to that in the trade forums. This would put the value at minimum 2.6mill but other players have already shown that they will pay 3mill for them. Older trade thread here. Completing the mystic quest was no walk in the park. Some players hunted like mad for mystic mobs, some did almost no hunting but bought all 26 mystic books to complete it (2.6 - 3.5mill). In short, that 500k wont get you one
Dude, didn't you read what he said? Apparently folks who paid 100k for small books just need more time for their brains to comprehend that their books aren't worth what they paid for them. I know what youre gonna say...Youre gonna say that you can farm up 500k in 2-5 hours and that it took some people a few weeks to find all the books risking life and limb to do so. Give your small brain time.
I re-read what I wrote and I stand by my statement. I said considering what the market price was for those books I don’t think you will be able to purchase one for 500k anytime soon. You need a buyer and a seller to set a price in any market and considering that the only transactions we have to date on the little books or the mystic ones is far far higher than the 500k being offered here I have no reason to believe that a seller would want to dump one for such a low price. Amazon common shares may be trading at 1750 USD this afternoon but if I put in a bid at 970 a share tomorrow because I think it’s only worth 970 does not all of a sudden make amazon worth 970. I need to find a seller at that price point. My argument was that I don’t believe that we will see that price point soon... perhaps my small brain is not capable of making a cogent argument but I have no dog in the race. I’m neither a buyer or a seller. I don’t use razor or have a tamer so I would never spend money on a rare item ever. I just play to have fun, good luck getting your book!
I'm very well aware of what people were trading the small books for. What I'm getting at is that it all boils down to how many mystic spellbooks exist now, and that number is waaay high. I'm not saying that yall have "small brains", but i do believe in time folks will see that these are not worth the trade price of the books required to make them - not even close. I knew this would stir folks up, but i stand by my offer even if it is a little bit ahead of its time. Check those numbers again if yall want. Also take time to check out the other spellbooks in that compendium, and reflect on what they sell for in comparison to how many exist. Another thing to think about is what looks cool, and what people want to wear. I hope this isn't received as some sort of slight to the quest that brought these 36 spellbooks to us - that was a very cool thing. Just pointing out that when the hype dies down and people start buying by numbers, those books are going to be worth much less. If you want more for them, now may be a good time to sell them, cause current popular sentiment seems to say otherwise.

Let’s not forget that a year ago a fort was sold for 45 Million. And a year before that a large marble next to yew bank was sold for 75 million. Give it a year my guy.
Yeah for sure lots of money floating around, and lots spent on unique properties absolutely. On very abundant Spellbooks, probably not so much.
Hard to compare items in UOR to the markets, because these are just static items. If you want to do that, these Spellbooks are more like a majorly hyped, heavily diluted IPO.
People took a ton of time to hunt these and most that bought the smaller ones with gold even well, that was a quest in itself.. i'm no lawmaker except in Skara Brae but if i had one i wouldn't let someone touch it for less than 1.5 - 2m and im a cheapo. id offer a bit more to even get a more positive inquiry on your search personally. Also breaking things down and estimating even if it was to the actual amount does not place a price on anything except in the NPC type shops really. Good luck
The error in your logic is that you are only focusing on the supply side. The demand for these bad ass mother fuckers is what makes them much more valuable than what you are asking to buy them for. Good luck regardless.
