I need help [Player Problem]

Hello I've been trying to train on this one farm near Britain.
I've been killing off the cows / pigs and other farm animals in hopes of spawning the mad cow / the wild boar and taming them for my pet collection.
So i tamed a sewer rat (a rare in the newby dungeon) as i usually do for protection, and when i arrived to the farm near Britain,
there was a player named "VIK" of KTT there with his untamed scorpians and they began to attack me, and proceeded to kill off my beloved sewer rat...
I was so angry - I just come there to train mostly, and this other player named Miller usually comes to check on me (He is looking for rare pets also)
Last night I successfully spawned the Wild Boar and the Mad Cow but accedently killed the mad cow.
I let Miller have the wild boar.
But now I have this problem: I asked the player named VIK to go away politely, but he refuses to leave.
I told him he his taking away from my game, and he said there are other farms to train at and said I was "nerd raging"
Any suggestions / help would be much aprreciated.

Maoh, it's difficult to get immediate responses. Unfortunately, issues surrounding animal pens in common. KTT has grown a lot recently, so I don't know who this would be. You can talk to Garrion if you want to setup an arrangement of avoidance of some sorts, but in general, the best policy is to go somewhere else for a while. The parties involved will typically go do something else as well.

i need someone to bring a bunch of dragons and release them in brit farm area on this guy
i paged gms but they wont help me

LOL, you wasted GM time for this? You sound like a pretty well versed gamer here and I'm sorry you thought that players being mean was any problem of the GMs.

KTT are generally terrible folk so now you know that and can plan accordingly to avoid them. This is the beauty of Feluccan UO, in that if you have the muscle, you can indeed take over an area on a whim. The time it takes to post this is more than enough time to get out of the area. Perhaps attempt to hire some players to guard you or help heal you.


For best results, calling for help (without naming the location) in IRC is your best bet. If someone PMs you asking where, you then have a relatively decent chance of actually getting that help, but there's also the chance that the person you thought was coming to help, is now coming to kill you as well.

Sorry to say it then, old UO probably isn't the best for you. This game provides the freedoms to be the greatest ally or the most terrible person you can be, within the bounds of the rules. Granted, generally offensive and directly harassing behavior may be addressed if it is in violation of the Code of Conduct:

Do the mad cow and the wild boar spawn at another spot?
If so i can just go to somewhere else but i want those pets.

Yes, as far as I understand, they have a chance to spawn anywhere that their base animal spawns (Cows and Pigs, respectively)

I'm well aware of the terrors of UO including it's people but this is over the line retarded,
I just stepped in the gate and his scoropians attacked me and killed my pet.

Heh, love you too. Killing people in harsh and unforgiving ways, is good UO to me. Not that I take part in that type of thing much at all, but it's why I play here. You will find the most sociopath degenerates of the gaming world in things like classic UO and others.

Question - you're in a guard zone, right? Can you just say 'guards' and get OP Britannian axeman to resolve the conflict?

While not everyone in UO has the same philosophy (which makes it grand) I would be the bigger person and just move away and find something else to do, eventually people get bored and move on.

Would hate to see a player leave UOR, just take a step back...maybe play another game for a little bit or go outside and enjoy yourself for a couple hours...then come back.

You can call guards on random monsters as well, as soon as they attack you.

If you asked for help in forums, than there will be delays before someone reads it. Best bet with asking for help is in
IRC...But keep in mind, a lot of people leave irc open day and night..It is possible no one would be able to help you
when you ask for it. As far as someone logging into game, is concerned. Also keep in mind we have players from
all time zones here.
UOR is a harsh world, there are players that enjoy grieveing... Players who figure "I was here first, don't have to share"
etc.
Releasing bad pets to kill once tamed is a common thing here. So don't take it personally.
There are also tons of nice players here.....
But if the rough stuff, is too rough for you...than you have choices to make. Stay here or leave. Whichever, pick the
one you think will enjoy and have the most fun.

I have played this server since the beginning. In all that time have only met one Elitist Jerk, and he hasn't played here
for ages.
