    Confirmed, but not sure if intended. I thought this came up before and @Chris said these spell books are to work the same as all the other spell books in the game. Can we please get clarification?

    Alright. Confirmed that it falls to corpse on a red unfortunatly. Not sure if it can be blessed on top of that.

    Chris has definitely blessed other special spellbooks for peeps. He also mentioned when this was discovered with the spooky spellbook too, that he was going to fix it so that reds can use.

    Hopefully we hear from @Chris soon.

    Correct, if you page in via in game, or PM Chris, staff should be able to correct them to 'blessed' as opposed to 'newbied'.

    Spellbooks are newbied items and are handled as such on murderer characters.

    Runebooks, which can be blessed via a bless deed. Do not drop on anyone.

    I believe that covers the questions here, while this is an anniversary, high value, item. The normal spellbook logic is still applied. We will not adjust these to blessed for a specific player as this would be unfair to all the players before who had similar items that were not blessed.

    So what makes anniversary spellbooks different from the elvish tome drops then? The ones that come from the instances are blessed. Its not consistent. As an anny item this should have the same rules apply to it as ANY spellbook would. Murderers keep their spellbooks, including the flaming and frozen. It appears that only the anny ones drop.
