UOR Dueling League - Season 1

Alright, guys were kicking off with the 7x Event.

The pairings for the initial rating round were made with a random generator:

Duel format is a best of 3 (2 wins take it)
Please contact your partner and report the full outcomes of the duels once you are done with them!

Afterwards you are free to challenge people on this list.

There will be new Duel Assignments towards the end of each week.
Please report them in time - also notice me if your partner is unresponsive, it will count as an auto loose for him and 1 week suspension from the league.

Additionally i am keep hosting the regular Stormhold Tournament as good as its possible for me.
I used to stream Tournaments before, but i am currently in no position to do it.

Id appreciate it though, also to get UOR out there on Twitch/Youtube

Any way to tell what template you're facing? And making sure who you're facing is actually who they say they are? Because it appears that some people are registered under their forum name, and not the actual char.

i decided to go with Participant over Template for the trial run.

This is due to the reason that most people tend to stick to one template for dueling and there were not too many signups for the 1st round.
In addition its easy to find out what your opponent prefers to play, and i can tell you that a vast majority of templates here will be Stunmages.

That said, it is on my watchlist and might be changed, if i see actual problems with it, or people complaining about it.

No worries, Im most likely gonna see how this first round goes before I hop in. Hopefully it goes off without a hitch. Glad someone is doing something like this. GL

Alright guys, this will be my last call to finish your duels!

I already told most of you numerous times, and saw you beeing active ingame, as well as on discord.
If we have 18 participants for the first round, and only 6 manage to respond to anything at all, then i will call this a weak outcome, and might as well end it.

You have 24 hours from here on to finish the duels or be banned until i see you wanting to participate.

i honestly don’t have time to keep up with this. I’ve retired to exhibition matches only. I recently tried to come back a few months ago and then my computer took a dump on me. I got it fixed, but I have to find the desire to sit down and re-create all my hotkeys again. The fire is slowly building though..

If I could get @Isabel @Pax Romain @Cynic @Iago @bart simpson @amfeKk & co. to come back.. that might help motivate me. Unlikely though.

I came back to UOR not too long ago too, with an actual way better understanding of the game overall. Still (re-)learning dueling on UOR (didnt step in the pits for years) and its a blast with every proper duel.

Also, setting up hotkeys takes like 10-15 minutes tops for the experienced player, and ive done it numerous times.
If you want (and my connection allows it) we can do some duels on Test or Live to get you right back at it.

As for the others, it would be great to have some of the people you mentioned above joining, especially knowing that some of them returned recently.

10-15 mins? Not a chance. I have an unbelievable amount of hotkeys and macros to re-create. And I have different setups for different chars. It’s a pain in the ass. I’ll do it sometime this week I guess. I still won’t be able to dedicate to this regardless.
