Hey Everyone, My first complete character is going to be a pure Axer, I should have Lumberjacking GM'd by tomorrow night via sparing. Hopefully I have enough data to post a useful guide, with time and resources on how long it takes to GM Lumberjacking. Below are my current character stats: 100 Anatomy 100 Healing 100 Hiding* 85.1 Lumberjacking (100 by tomorrow night) 29.3 Resist** 100 Swords 100 Tactics * I may replace hiding with 100 magery or a comb of magery and another skill... I would love opinions. I may just keep it a pure Axer for fun. ** I plan to GM magery and evaluating intelligence on another character while working resist to 100.
I personally like having Magery.. extremely useful. I'd definitely consider dropping hiding. I like hiding, but I feel like with this build you'll be visible and attacking more often than hiding
Yeah drop hiding for Magery which is simply invaluable for finishing off opponents. Also 85 to gm lumberjacking in 1 night seems quite optimistic. How did you get on?
I don't mean to hijack your thread but does mana drain and mana vampire work on another character casting on you?
Hit only Oak trees for late lumber gains, seems to be working very well for me. 30 magery to use scrolls for trapping pouches / recall / magic resist .
