I get what you’re attempting to do by calculating a percentage of total but seems disingenuous not to adjust it based on the appropriate scale for each stat.

A 0% dragon should have the minimum end of the range for each stat (i.e. 796 STR) whereas you model would assume it has literally 0 stat points which isn’t remotely possible.

A purchaser should do their home work prior to making a bid. While I understand and appreciate what you are saying, I also believe a buyer has a duty to do their own research prior to making a bid.

It's just an easy way of looking and seeing where a pet fits on the spectrum.

The drags you find at 99%+ stats are far more farm heavy than the 99% "stat-perfect" title alludes to. When you do the math there's actually less than a 1% chance that a pet will be 99% perfect. In fact, I think I'm keeping pets at about a rate of 1 in every 4-500 or so, with a cutoff of around 98.5%, depending if I get STR/DEX in a good place..

I'm not sure why jump took the time out of his day to comment on an auction that ended a week ago to label me as disingenuous? It seems like a personal attack from someone I don't know..... Or maybe he's just not using the right word and I'm reading too much into things? ...100% possible kek... I actually picked the system up from Apaulling when I was new here and stuck with it...

Maybe we should create a system that incorporates the odds of procuring a pet... For instance, when I sell a 99.5% stat-perfect wyrm, I could title it "1 in 10,000 pet!" or something along those lines... xD

I guess the bottom line is that if you want a new system, create it and see if it catches on. What I'll do in the meantime is include a BASELINE pet on my charts for reference...for instance a BASELINE dragon is 94.8% perfect.

It’s really not that deep. Just some thoughts in passing. Carry on.

You could really get crazy and add a kicker multiple for drags that have been trained.

The more craziness the better, although I'm not quite tracking what you mean. Elaborate? xD

To the extent people are still paying more for a trained dragon (not sure what the market is like anymore) with magery/eval/resist you should be able to charge a premium.

Throw your excel file in a Google Sheet and pm me the link.
