Building a multi crafter char. Tinkering/Carpentery GM. Bought magery/blacksmithing/tailoring. Started looking at blacksmithing and the guides only show from 50. Anyone have knowledge on from 30 to 50? Will be looking at tailoring guide next. Thanks in advance! Cheers
The results of your advice are: 30 to 60 using 7k ingots, making maces only. Recycling ingots as I went. Thanks again for the idea! Cheers
My bad....no on the maces. I went by the guide and switched to kyrss' to 72. Then on to short spears. Im at 85.5 from 72 using about 5k ingots making short spears. Recycling as I went, which is nice. Thanks for pointing it out.
I assumed as much, just figured i'd ask the clarifying question in case some poor lost soul didn't understand.
Here is some additional data for Smithy. I didn't keep track up to the point where I started documenting, however, the data above is close to the same results I had, up to this point. Start 81.9 shown 79.9 real (short spears) **at 90.0 shown, switch to (plate gorgets) Finish 92.8 shown 92.1 real Total Ingot Consumption - 7754 ingots Start 92.8 shown 92.1 real (plate gorgets) Finish 96.0 shown 95.6 real Total Ingot Consumption - 4200 ingots Start 96.0 shown 95.6 real (plate gorgets) Finish 97.4 shown 97.2 real Total Ingot Consumption - 5000 ingots Start 97.4 shown 97.2 real (plate gorgets) Finish 99.6 shown 99.6 real Total Ingot Consumption - 5000 ingots Start 99.6 shown 99.6 real (plate gorgets) Finish 100.0 Total Ingot Consumption - 1500 ingots Total Ingot Consumption from 81.9 shown / 79.9 real - 23454 ingots **All items were recycled** I have GM Mining on my Main Crafter who smelts all the ore, and a second Miner with mining locked at 64.9. This gives me all Iron, and no colored ore to deal with when making my run to GM. I'm not sure if my logic is sound, but this gives me more iron per mining run to use. It might not make much sense if you only have one Miner, and are trying to stock up on colored ore. Hope this helps!
