Wrestling for Mage?

    Hey Guys,

    New to this server. Previously played OSI back in the day and a bunch of UOGamers:Hybrid.

    Was wondering about wrestling, does it affect spell casts getting interrupted or is it not really necessary for a combat mage unless going for the anatomy stun skill?

    Hello & welcome! Yes, wrestling affects casting interruption, usually this is a standard skill for a pvp mage! Now they will answer you in more detail, I'm at the gas station ... heh

    It'll absolutely help with getting interrupted less. It's something like a 50% less of a chance to be hit (obviously by some person or monster with a weapon or wrestling) when you have GM.

    Something to take note of is that this server also has defensive wrestling. With anatomy and eval int, at gm you have the equivalent of gm wrestling but just for defense.

    You can make a bandage heal mage and still have wrestling. Its actually the most popular build here.

    Magery, Med, Eval, Resist, Wrestle, Anat, Healing.

    This allows you to have both healing and the ability to stun punch. A pretty powerful combination of offense and defense.
