Notice the stack of ingots next to where I am standing. things above a certain point 4-5 stacks high, (I assume the entire way around your porch) may be looted from outside. It happened to me don't let it happen to you. Enjoy the ingots whoever got them.
Also worth adding that some items raise heights more than "1". For example, a wooden box is I think a height of 4. So if the height at which you can pull something from outside is a height of 6, then it could either be the 6th ingots on a stack, or it could be the 2nd ingots on top of a wooden box.
Well it wasn't much so im not even mad anymore, I thought someone got in and had no idea how they did it. and as far as the height im not sure what a wooden bench counts as but I did the stacks with iron on the ground up to val. they got bronze and up, probably only 200 ver/val so no big deal. no idea when it happened noticed it last night. Holden since it appears you actually mine, if you turn on circle of transparency you can drop items over the fence and into the patio and they cannot be taken out (until you reach the height we have been discussing). This works great with ore.
This is a known and accurate issue with the client/line of sight (I believe it's even worse with the marble patio) I have a few solutions that can resolve this via a server side modification to the houses in question, however it would affect the ability to do the reverse and drop items over the edge from the outside.
That is probably the best course of action. In 2.5 years I think i've only had one player upset about that.
