    *coughs* I made my disarm thief just to steal runebooks from afk people in town FYI!


    (I think bod books and runebooks should be targetable as well)

    It means you can wear chain mail armor without dex loss.

    Chain armor appears most like Mithril to me.

    I've had plat dropped to corpse twice, dont recall the first, maybe regular elf, but this was a battle mage. 2 toons fighting it with 1 summoned daemon and 1 mare. all within 5 or 6 tiles i believe. overworld just to the east of sacrifice.

    Platinum from the normal platinum system will always drop to the monsters corpse. The only situations in which platinum will be given directly to a player is via champion spawns where is you are in range it is provided to you directly.

    Holiday coins on the otherhard are given to one of the largest damagers via a lottery system.

    Chris,

    When I kill boss mobs (not champs but Gam or Efreet Sultan etc) the plat spawns directly in my pack - not on the corpse of the boss. However killing trash for champs - the plat does pop into my pack.

    That is correct. Boss monster platinum is give out using the lottery system. Normal monster platinum will drop to their loot container. Some Boss monsters like the Purveyor and Elder Wyrm give 1 platinum to every damager, ergo the direct rewards.
