And just like girls who play UO, it ain't true until it's verified in voice chat. In the matter of age I don't think there is a form of valid online verification! Haha

really true Jupiter - if i didnt play back live idk if i would play now. Nostalgia keeps us coming back.. the content helps us stay. But if I didnt have nostalgia - idk if I could play this over EZ mode mmo's that exist now that are FTP anyway (gw2, rift, aion, etc)

Aside from housing and pvp mechanics, I play UO so I don't have to lose to kids almost half my age! You sir are not allowed to PK me until you are at least 21 years of age!

When I was younger my older bro got me and my younger bros playing UO. I hate most of the new MMORGPs because of how easy mode and "kid friendly" they are.

Plus to be honest with you, UO actually is the "coolest" looking game I have ever played. There is something about the 2-D design that I really like.

I do have a nostalgia feeling when I play as well. Neither me, nor any of my bros can determine what server we "first" started playing UO. I do remember when I was VERY little running around on one of my older bros chars on a server full of people, but we are not sure if that was OSI :/

Feels older than everyone else here... I remember grabbing a copy of Ultima II off the shelves of the computer Byte store back in 1982..

I wish I was old enough to have played the real Ultima games

GOG, or Good Old Games, still sells the Entire Ultima collection for both Mac and PC. So you still can enjoy them.. During the holidays they usually will sell the entire series for like $15-$20.

You can start with U7. If you played Ultima Online some things will be familiar to you. It's also the best game in the series.
