Spiraling out from the twisting depths of space, time and other dimensions, a light appears, distant at first but drawing ever nearer. A hot glowing blue flame manifesting shape from emptiness, like the birth of a star or the opening of the mind's eye. Singular gravity pulling with fathomless force and speed towards a window wreathed in blue light, a portal to another realm comes racing into view. On the other side rests the portal, fully formed and stable, encircled with stones in the midst of a forest clearing, galactic luminance spilling out to bathe its surroundings. A rush of air and the sound of alternating frequencies gives way to a shadow, the silhouette of a humanoid being as it approaches. Out from the portal staggers a man, a road-weary traveler seemingly unaware of his surroundings, kneeling on the ground, recovering his senses and memory. "...how did I get here? This place seems so familiar. I know I've been here before, but how long has it been? I'll need to find my way round again..." The traveler, standing and recomposed, sets off away from the clearing, leaving behind the portal and the rigorous journey through it to find out what awaits him within this facet of Sosaria.
Thank you! Used to play on Napa Valley back in the day, played for a few years on Angel Island and haven't played too much since. Started craving it again, found this server and wanted to check it out. I'll be looking forward to starting out fresh again and making some friends along the way!
