It's a GM add-on granted for hosting events in a show of support and appreciation. That's not happening anymore and as such, it should not be there. Lest we end up with crap all over the shard from has-been events. Hell, can I keep the gates from my front steps to Occlo and Brit bank, because I hosted Freesist?

    I think not.

I would like to think Tela would have already taken it down if he were going to. It's been several months since liberation stopped those events. Also, if he took time to manually add the gates to/from the event, why not add/delete the stable npc instead of leaving it up all the time.

Yeah, I'm not one to shy away from topics that may ruffle feathers so you can expect my comments on anything I care about. Like GM add-ons lingering about when the purpose for them has long since gone defunct.

That said, this will not likely go anywhere as it has been a staple of the area for a year or more. That and there are very few stables accessible to murderous types, so there's actually merit to leaving it alone.

I still don't like it, or anyone using it as a profit point. :p

In my short time spent there, I noticed tons of people used that stable. Blaise, I can't argue with your opinion on using it as a profit point but the fact remains, it was a unique location, therefore I don't think I was out of line with what anybody else would have done with selling the property. My motive for selling it was to actually cut down on the amount of pixel crack I don't need.

my reason for buying it was turning into a new O^S launch point rune library w/stable access. all of us nerds have been talking about it for a while.

Absolutely, anyone would have done the same. I probably would have asked Telamon if he was ever going to remove it before listing it myself but I don't hold it against you for seizing opportunity.

That would be great. I have at least three runebooks with Grimoire runes and seemingly I have no runes anywhere to HV. hahaha

I did, somewhat, I was told as long as the area remained "active" , it would be allowed to stay. But I did assume that whoever bought it would keep it in "active" status. But yea, maybe I should have made all that a bit more transparent in my OP. Hopefully this ends with everybody happy.

How did Peace let this drop? I always get concerned when his properties start decaying.

The reality of the situation is that this area isn't going to become active again. The stablemaster should be removed.

I'm pretty sure noname has stated his intentions for this property. Your opinion is appreciated though.

Also, as Markos already stated, this stable master is currently being used as he has witnessed himself since he bought the place.

Just how much activity do you think one rune library can generate? Enough to warrant keeping the stablemaster around?

If I build a rune library can I have one too?

If you build a rune library, then host events there every week for a year with throngs of players needing to stable their mounts for it....possibly. Being the thief that you are though, I wouldn't hold my breath for any of those things to happen.

I'm pretty sure that Telamon would have nipped this thing in the bud if he knew that someone was going to use it to sell property. Your attempt to use the Grimoire stablemaster for a gold grab is appreciated though.

Stormhold already does all of this and they've never asked for a stablemaster. The process is typically for a group to establish activity in an area, THEN to petition for something like this to be added.
