Hi I am about to place a house, and I am wondering what size will I need to get a house with a safe spot. Safe spot meaning that I cannot get killed by spells from the outside, as I would like to able to macro up a crafter and not coming back to ooOOOoooO I was thinking maybe a large brickhouse, but not sure it big enough. Any advice appriciated. Cosmo
As long as you stay away from the outer walls, you should be fine in the large brick. Also, check out this guide on home ownership: http://uorforum.com/threads/renaissance-guide-to-home-ownership.6057/ Good luck!
You can macro in the middle of a small house and be safe from outside casters. No need for anything larger than a small for this.
Hey @ReZon thanks for the link, I will have a look. @El Horno Thanks good and precise info as always. @MissPeace No I have not. I had to know before I placed. The spot might be gone now, I wasnt too thrilled about the spot anyway, but it was what I could find so far. I will wait with placement, since it looks like you have something to add. @Andersonius Thanks for the info. I will go for the large brick anyway. Since this is my first house here on UOR, I am certain I will need the lockdowns and secures. I would have liked a tower or even bigger, but being new I am poor and this is the largest I currently can afford. Besides finding a spot to place the bigger ones dont look like it will happend. At least not the areas I have explored. Thanks to all for your replies, I am now ready to place when MissP have added her comment. I would have loved a tower, but taking some wrong turns when i started here have forced me to lower my demands. I will most likely have to buy from a player whenever I get rich enough to buy my next, which will be a tower or larger. Cosmo
