This is a good place to start: http://uorforum.com/threads/the-great-spawning-rare-guide-players-edition.1983/
Thank you! I've looked over that several times and am really quick at pulling that thread as well as the price guide for reference. Having started at that place, to whence do I proceed, mang?
You can get a historical graph of any item, by searching on the main page. For example: http://www.uorenaissance.com/itemgraph/F3B/RareDung1/single Take a look at when the last couple were picked up and you'll get a pretty good idea when the next one will spawn.
well depending on the rare timer day, week, biweekly, monthly. Looking at the last time it spawned on the graph you can tell about when it will spawn again. Let us use the large pot of wax for example. There are three important things you must know. A) where it spawns B) what the spawn timer is C) When it last spawned so... I know where it spawns, and I also know it is a 3-4 week spawner. So I look the item up and look at its spawn graph. http://www.uorenaissance.com/itemgraph/142A/RarePotofWax/single that just spawned feb 5th so I know I can wait about 20ish days to start checking and/or camp its spot. I am also pretty sure Telamon has purposely delayed these graph updates for rares at least so you can not intentionally sit and refresh an items spawn graph and then log in and go get it. also do not try and afk scavenge rares, there is a 100% afk check when each is picked up for the bi weekly and up ones I believe. P.S. this method is a fuckerton harder to do for one spot that can spawn multiple styles of an item, flasks for example.
seems some items in the rares list never respawn and other items are listed differently (spittoon for example) This is gonna be an adventure!
Thanks for the info!! I'm feeling much less lost in the woods about this whole thing. Which library is ReZon's?
The KoS library also has the rares marked. They're split up differently, though, to put all the dangerous spots in the same books, and such.
so... Gideon said what I did pretty much, only in the nerdiest way humanly possible, surprised he didnt have a power point set up for you
Thanks for getting me on the road, guys!! The prezi was awesome, Gideon. Um... Russell, maybe nerd it up a little more next time? Thanks!
