Watch out for griefers

one time mutombo was getting banned from UOR and so bart took all of mutombo's things for "safe keeping" and then wouldn't give them back when mutombo got unbanned.

he actually joined my mumble server and tried to goad people into telling him his actions weren't absolutely reprehensible.

one time i watched Bart and Google gate to the orc house on fully-loaded PvPers and killed three orcs and dry loot them.

about twelve times i've watched Bart suddenly attempt to befriend people who he thought might quit soon in repeated attempts to receive their items should they ever decide to.

My favorite Bart experience is one day when Mes and I were out trying to get some fights and we came upon Bart and Google and tried to 2v2 them. Instead, they ran back to their chaos tower (this was from the area around compassion shrine so it was a long run) and waited until Hatecrime showed up so they could 2v3 us, despite them being from different guilds/factions. After trying to deal with a 2v3 for awhile we backed off and came back, and that number grew to 2v4 and then 2v5 as both bart and hatecrime called in as many friends as they could to deal with us.

This was before we had made friends with W^T, so the fact that we couldn't get any fair fights on this server without people calling us in made us pretty emo and we went to play wow for about two months. After that we came back and allied with W^T to fill out our ranks since it was clear to us that we wouldn't be getting and 2v2s here. So for those of you who are upset for being under SL's thumb for the past couple of years, you know who to thank for that now.

My favorite Bart experience was the time I found one of his characters afk at Trinsic bank with a fireworks wand in his pack.

Bart and his people have been persecuted for far too long. In its infancy, the UOR server was lorded over by a gang of ruffians called Adventure^Time. They jailed Bart away and mistreated him. I feel that he should be excused from the title "griefer" as a form of appropriation. I know this may sound silly, and that you are likely mad (and rightfully so) for being killed by Bart. But keep in mind, people also thought that at one time allowing women to vote was lunacy. Instead, I urge you think of a PK'ing by bart as a good thing. Think of it as a special treasure that only Bart can gift you with. Your death is not in vain, it acts as payment for the trials and tribulations that Bart has faced at the hands of other do-gooder trammelites (A^T, though they have since turned into merciless PK's themselves).

They're outcast, as much as I hate getting pk'ed.. You gotta admit that without them hunting wouldnt be as fun. I dont wanna hunt where I cant get killed, I want to succeed where it's dangerous. Get loot and possibly die to a pk.

Don't go to Hythloth. Go do Jhelom bulls and get PKed sporadically but still, it's not so much. Just check it every couple hours. And if youre dead, takes less than 5 minutes to set it up again.

I like when PKs don't rez you and take all your shit. That's the dangerous PKs I remember from live. And if you have tames dragons that they can kill just make sure theyre bonded and you're okay. Who cares if they kill a bonded dragon, it only 2.5% stat loss. That;s not bad. Best places I found to go are T2A, they hardly ever go there

Very funny thread! One time Bart and Genocide essentially held me captive in my own log cabin. I got whacked on the top porch with my precious vanq spear, and I logged in nearly every alt in that cabin I could get just to retrieve that spear. The second I'd step out of that door on to the porch, I'd get toasted. They were intent on letting it decay before they'd let me back into the cabin haha. It was a comedy of errors for sure, I was raging and laughing at the same time. Finally, I think Apoc and someone else in the guild ran in to distract them while I recovered my precious vanq spear

I don't know everything. That's just what I experienced and what I found to be well, but it may be different for everyone which is cool. What are your ideas on watching out for griefers?
