Young time is there for people to familiarize or re-familiarize themselves with UO and this server. No need to quit. Just explore the real world and find farming spots that are not as frequented by PK's.
Wait, so you're ditching your current account to make a new account so you can rejoin the young program to farm with an invulnerability tag? Am I reading that right?
Yes, absolutely. I have an account that I already farm with outside but when I'm drunk after coming home from a long days work I don't want to do anything but chop down undead with a vanq silver axe that would seriously compromise my enjoyment if I lost it. Mainly due to the enjoyment of one shotting zombies and the like. Everything else is irrelevant and lets me unwind without having to stress if some knob jockey is going to come kill me when I'm not in a state of mind to protect myself. I love the server and the community but as there is no trammel what other choice do I have?
You can still do that in Occlo with your current account Horatio, I go farm spined leather with my 5x fencer
Oh I don't know, not abuse the young system? Don't play when you're drunk? I seriously doubt this is how Telamon intended the young system to be used.
Yeah, but you don't have that invulnerability tag (young status) and could therefore, gasp........lose your stuff if you were to be killed..
In the Occlo dungeon? Why would a PK go to a young dungeon? Risking their stats & skills & items for a substantial katana?
No worries koncept, you play how you like and I will play how I like. But you do NOT have the right to tell me not to play while drunk. This is my post work blood pressure lowering therapy, look at it from a larger perspective. Nymeros, I have seen a ton of pks running through there!
So what's your plan when you lose young status on all three of your accounts? Just totally stop playing or just keep creating accounts?
Fair enough Horatio, we're just trying to help you not waste time, as time is irreversible If this is how you enjoy the game i don't think it should have any issues, then again i am not an administrator.
