    Hello -

It won't be long before my little fishing crew will be in need of a right proper ship. However, I now remember there being different types of ships available.

Small, large specifically... then there's dragon, but if I recall that's purely cosmetic.

My question is this, from the point of view of a fisherman are there any good things about one ship type over the others?

The larger the ship, the more room you have to walk around if you need to. Otherwise, I don't think there is any reason for picking one or the other beyond personal choice.

Go large ship, you won't have to worry about stam issues when trying to move around, guy just outside of glow to the east sells them for about 14k I think

    Dragon ships are cosmetic.
I prefer small ships but usually fish with a crew of 1. Smalls are more maneuverable in tight spots.

    Ug... that's something I hadn't thought of.

How is it out there? Is it a clogged parking lot of empty ships?

It's not so bad out there, you may run into some boats but you'll find a part of the sea to call your own.

I like the manuverability and price point of the small boats. Dragon masthead is a no brainer as it lets would be pirates know you mean business.

Large Ship all the way. I like to place 2 of my fishers on the tile just below the recall point. On that tile I can maneuver my 3rd fisher around the entire boat without having to worry about running through the other 2 fishers. This lets me get to wherever a monster died and loot it quickly.

Just a tip, loot and skin everything you kill out there dry. You actually waste less time this way versus sailing the boat around corpses. (If you don't already know, skin first, loot dry, then skin again. Skinning the 2nd time "destroys" the corpse)

Large boat for sure. Small ships are frustratingly small and there will be logistics problems.

Just make sure your ship says 'Hasselhoff Industries' on it!

Good input... I'm convinced. Large ship it is (dragon head of course per Horno's suggestion)

Throw in a double cheesburger and you got a deal.

All kidding aside, do you run a vendor somewhere's? --- disregard, found it.
