Gargoyle pickaxes vs. shovels

    I am new to battle mining. Ive been using prospector tools and a gargoyle pickaxe. I recently turned in a few low end smithy mods and recieved a few ore themed gargoyle shovels. My question is what are the signifigance of these shovels in comparison to the pickaxes?

    I love @Keza video's dude is like the Bob Ross of UOR I swear there is a video of him getting pkd and all his response is"Well let's see where this leads" dude is happy all the time glad he is on the shard
