Haven't had a reason to play or do spawns or farm anything since I own every kind of ethy. How about some new ones like unicorns, kirins, beetles, ridgebacks! (swamp is kinda iffy since it was ridonk looking) What does everyone feel about those? They would act as a wonderful gold and plat dump, nearly everyone who has money would most likely want one. A lot less coding then all the random bullshit that gets requested everyday too..
Is there any way to get different mounts/ethereals? Like a rideable (obv) Ethereal Great Hart would be cool How bout a rideable shoulder mounted Ettin *passes the blunt*

A server named defiance used to have ethy skeletal steeds since we're talking about custom ones now. They were bad ass to say the least lol
Not gonna do that because of having to filter through spam I don't understand though, everybody seems to like plat, and ethies and runebooks sell like hotcakes... why not expand something that works extremely well
Spam? The spam gets removed here pretty quickly. If you mean the massive glut of people posting to speak out against adding beetles and other shitmounts....yeah, there's a lot to filter.
People shit on custom content a lot and they're right to be critical of it But, personally, I don't have any problem with custom content as long as the style is medieval. I'd literally be okay with seeing someone ride an Ettin before being okay with a unicorn or kirin or beetle. Those mounts never fit the theme or art style of the rest of the game Please note I'm really only talking about custom cosmetics, not custom game mechanics. They're different discussions entirely imo
Agreed. I'm probably in the minority here but I would be ok with custom houses as well, as long as the tile types were restricted to pre-existing house styles in UOR.
I'm not sure about allowing people to frankenstein their own houses together. Even with tile restrictions, it may still end up looking really ugly. However, what would be super cool, would be a community driven voting system where someone could submit designs, and the community would vote on adding them. It could even be limited to like 2 a year and made into an event/contest I suggest community driven because I don't think it is something that staff should spend too much time on, but more housing options would be really really sweet, and all the tools are there to create awesome houses.
I like the idea of adding new houses from a design contest. Make it available on test perhaps, though im not aware if there would be some kind of conflictions. But perhaps a new medium or/and small house. An idea that im sure will never pass but as someone who enjoys doing deco and custom housing on other servers, i can dream.
I honestly think I fucking love ethies.. of every era. I don't discriminate ethereals. I don't disagree with you guys they are not this exact era but it doesn't mean I didn't have a shit ton of fun styling my characters out and obsessing over how many ethies they had. Dammit I loved all my ethies and you guys are just bashing em.
