Platinum and House Secures

Hi everyone!

Okay, I have a Villa with 3 secure containers. If I use my platinum and keep buying more secure containers, is there a limit to how many I can put on one house? I guess what I'm asking is, can I turn my 3 secure villa into a 20 secure container villa?

Ive been told there is no limit. I would like conformation as well and the closest ive gotten is being informed by someone with 20ish lockdown expansions.

I have downsized to a 2 Story Villa myself and plan on keeping it long-term. Currently at 3 lockdown expansions and planning on adding more secures, it would be nice to know if there is a cap. I wouldn't think so since that would take away from more plat sinks, but ya never know.

I don't. I've had 2 different keeps in the past 5 months and i was just not satisified with them. Not a fan of the layout. My last one that i purchased, i was able to shift it over 7-8 tiles, still blocked 90% of the cy with tabled and me being a dum dum assumed that made it secure. Boy was i wrong. A week into having the thing, i didnt have anything secure yet. Guy happened to have a rune and grabbed all my stuff and killed my afk char. My fault for not securing my stuff and totally get that.

But yes, villa is in a great location that i love. Surprised me too, always thought i needed bigger housing.

I figured Lutz was talking about his fort, but didn't know for sure.

If test gives us any clues, I did a secure test and stopped at 130 addons for secures on a villa. So possibly unlimited secure lockdowns if you choose to spend your plat in that manner.

Lock down and secure add-ons are unlimited. It's kind of a platinum sink, because if the house falls they are removed. But they do transfer with they house as well.

I have 21 lock down add-ons on my fort, on most homes you will never really get your investment back, but if your going to use it, then why not.

@Arnold Lutz do they stay with the deed if you demo the house?

I've used LD expansions in a few of my houses and afaik if the house falls or is deeded, the LD/secure expansions are lost. They only carry over if ownership of a placed house is transferred.

I am at my 10th lockdown expansion at the moment in a villa...
