If Chris is occupied then it's a different matter and we should be patient. I am sure he will handle it appropriately.
There is a problem with the code that purges the gates after the event cycle completes. So for the last few patch cycles we have been doing it manually (badly). That said if you notice them up without a reason just shoot me a pm. This should be resolved soon and the gates will auto remove themselves once an event completes. A few of the gates need to be moved away from the banks a bit as well I suspect. The only other exception is when they are open during player run events.
