    At some point we will have to start addressing negativity (in all caps no doubt) by players. The Night of Horrors event has an overworld component and an event component. If you would much rather there be no events and gift bags rewarded to players who simply log in PFR you are welcome to open a thread to discuss that as an alternative.

    If you want to be negative at least be honest about the scope of the holiday activities.

    Why is it when I ask legit questions in proper casing, I get no replies. When I am sarcastic, I get a reply awfully quick.

    You told me the other day you don't want people being negative in IRC. I asked you where I can offer constructive criticism and you did not give me a reply. I asked a few questions in the patch note threads and got no reply while you answered other questions. I realize you're a busy man, but you could at least see that I have tried (many times) to meet you on your own terms.

    I told people to go to your event and earn themselves some holiday coins. What is wrong with that?

    Also, if I included "HYPE" in that comment, would it be negative?

    It sounds to me like you just don't want to hear from some people unless it's a high five or a thumbs up.


    Edit. I might also add, my comment describes the event well. I didn't say it was stupid. I didn't say it was ***ed up. I didn't say it was **y. I said exactly what it was. A risk-free zone to earn holiday coins, and I even told people to "GOGOGO" which seems to be what a few others have said in the same (and similar) words. I know you don't like me, you've made that very clear in your actions against me.

    How about instead of getting all complainy pants on Chris, we just either A. Participate , or B. Don't participate and stop knocking things. If we don't participate, does it really affect us if there is "no risk" involved on a holiday event like this? It's supposed to be fun, and its a nice reward for being apart of a massive event that looks great for the shard overall.

    Overworld event is fantastic! Night of Horrors event is fantastic!

    Can one ask for more as the RL temperatures (for most) start plummeting and winter rears its ugly head!?

    That isn't a fair statement, IMO. The OP only mentions the challenge event. The thread title says challenge event. No mention of the overworld event is made in either. It seems kind of irrational to extend his comments outside of that context in the absence of a quote.
