Good use of all the house wall options

Since I've been here since day one of this server, I will let you all know. Chris has said since very beginning, there will not be custom housing here. So no need really to vote or whatever. Not sure what his reasons are, but....I am sure they are good ones.

Personally, I love custom housing. but.... I knew before I decided to make this server "home" would not be an option.

Oh, I was busy in real, and remembered this.

At one point there was talk about custom housing, one option Chris said he might consider is some sort of "Wash effect" where only you could see it, unless you take pic and post here, the wash would be like sandstone, marble, that sort of thing.

This is quite an old topic. Chris seemed somewhat open to the idea of new house designs at one point, but not player customizable housing. See above link for reference.

When I said no custom housing, meant player customized, the tile by tile thing.

Please stick to 2001 !

I absolutely hate custom housing for 2 reasons....

1. Empty Plots
2. Majority of Custom house are eyesores

I am all for more housing types, though. I've said in the past that I would like to see every type of house that we currently have given different versions.

I like this era just the way it was.

Custom housing on osi shards right now is absolute garbage... you'll see a blank plot of land next to some samurai empire monstrosity next to some bright neon eyesore. I personally think osi shards jumped the shark after Renaissance, trying to blend too many eras into a game that was never meant to have half the crap they do now.

This is where Im at. Im a new guy here so I try and tread lightly with imposing my beliefs on the rule-set. I always notice the loudest people asking for changes are always new players.

If you can find a pre-T2A server that run with the quality of this glorious place then Im all ears.
