Trojan is correct, I misunderstood the way Auctions are run here and got clarification in IRC. Its 24 hours from the last uncontested bid and not 24 hours from the beginning of the auction. Trojancow now has the high bid on #1 at 300k. Edit: I thought auctions run 24 hours from beginning of auction here, but was corrected in IRC and forums that it is 24 hours from last contested bid.

Nothing preventing you from running a straight 24 hour auction, just for the record. They are generally very inefficient at getting you your best price, though. Not enough time for bids and exposure, and some people will wait to snipe or bid at the very last minute(s).
