End Game Goals?

    Not really "end game" things but just goals:

    1. Have at least a million gold in my bank - check
    2. Perhaps just ONE Ethereal mount... all I want is one.....I don't need 15... just one :D
    3. ???????
    4. Become a gorilla fighting and gambling kingpin of the underworld - check.
    5. Open a tavern and run it regularly like I did years ago on an old free shard - 1/2 check
    6. Start a self-sustaining and structured RP-ish dexxer guild as I did on Atlantic complete with rankings and duties, theme and goals. - Currently shelved until if or when guildstone changes and alliances ever come out. I can create and structure a guild but I don't want to babysit anyone, that's why I will have underlings do it for me. Seems like it would be easier to manage IF guildstone changes were here.
    7. Have the time to actually run my casino on a regular basis

    My only real goal is to relive the ol' days of UO. I would like to collect all of the necro regs and flasks/beakers, but it's not a high priority right now.

    I personally just started, so more than endgame goals I guess I'm still on pregame goals... but ultimately I'd like to build myself up to a place where I can focus on helping other players more than myself. escort missions don't count :p

    At first I was going to vote "no" as there is no END GAME for UO, but after reading this definition I wanted to contribute. My long term goal is to run a shop in the spot where Infantry's small tower currently sits in Skara Brae. This has been a dream for years and across several shards. With Infantry gone missing :( this does not look very likely, but meanwhile I'm (slowly) building up funds in case things change in that regard.

    You and like half a dozen others Canis. I'm the one refreshing it for him now as he is bound by personal contract to sell it back to me for the price I sold it to him. I'm not going to give him much longer to respond to my messages but I'm definitely not just going to let it go without a fight. ;)

    Now that I'm down to just a couple books again, my current goal is to rebuild my blessed runebook collection. I just picked up some sweet prepatch colors, too, to replace my old ones.

    Goals I've already accomplished:

    1) Tmap Completionist - I was the first, and only for a long time
    2) Valorite Runic Hammer - x2, Check

    As for long term goals which I haven't already accomplished:

    1) 10,000 treasure maps decoded - When @Chris released the tmap system, he capped the highest level at 9,999. I told him then that I would shoot for breaking that barrier in at least one category. I'm over halfway there (should be around 7,000 when I finish decoding the latest batch)
    2) Get back my tmaps completed lead and keep it
    3) GM lockpicking somewhere along the way
    4) Ironman all the Ironmannable things

    Unfortunately, you have to do what blaise said and get a crew and make it happen. Casuals get shit on here. Get used to it.

    My favorite part about UO is there is no end game. All I want is a bag of regs and a fight.

    Although in the context of this post...I wouldn't mind be a commander of CoM again.


    Edit: And there is something special about having a castle. I once owned a private island castle. That was nice.
