Peace, you beat me to the punch on buying that sandstone from boothby, and I admit that I was going to tear those tables down. I do think it's a bit off putting, as I imagine some traditionalist new players might too. It's your spot now of course, but I vote to tear'em down! As spaced out as they are, I am sure with a bit of creativity you can organize the runebooks. Either way, I wish you good luck on your vendoring - it's a great spot!
I was in Joe's guild on atl, (I'm pretty sure he passed the "It's really Joe, test the last time I talked to him) Most fun thief guild/era ever.
It may not look pretty but I dressed it up as best I could. For the record I talked to many, many new players while running this shop and never had any complaints. Quite the contrary in fact. Could it have been off putting for some? Maybe. But then this is UO and I can do what I want. Good luck @LanDarr !
Boothby, you owned one of the best vendors shop of this shard. Please be proud of whats you have done here. I am the happiest uor player since you give me your stock of gm instruments. Each time i use it, i think of you! Take care and the most important thing, live the present moment.(probably a bad french translation)
As someone who joined UOR only a few months ago, I will attest to how much I've used this house. Still my primary rune library (so happy it didn't leave with Boothby) and have bought all kinds of stuff there. Definitely only helped me develop my characters and ditch "Young" status ASAP. So, thanks.
