    Hello!

I have a question abiut skill gains in crafting such as alchemy and tailoring.

My question is not really what item i should craft, but which % of success rate returns the highest rate of skill gain.

What success rate raises skill as fast as possible ?(not caring about cost, return, or usability)

for example, which items should I craft when they have 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 90% success rates? All the guides are either cost saving, sale value, or for another skill (ex. crafting poison potions for alchemy, to raise poisoning later)

    Thanks!

Hey Momo - here is what I found from the One Guide:

    Alchemy:

Started from skill 50 in Alchemy and switched to Greater Poison at skill 55 to GM, just like the Alchemy & Poisoning Guide=Ezekiel guide suggested[/url].

    Tailoring:

Short Pants until 40 or later
    Fancy Shirts until 49.8
Skirts until low to mid 50's
    Fancy Dress until 55
    Robes until 74.6
    Oil Cloths until 99.5
    Studded Leather Gorgets until GM

I am not sure if the loremasters of UO have that knowledge.

Ah thank you BlackEye. I somehow thought it was a widely known thing amongst players, that I do not know of.

I will figure out by trying.

I can answer the opposite question. You will have the LOWEST rate of gain (0) when your success chance is 0% or 100%. Apart from that, it is merely a guess but I don't feel like it matters. As long as you attempt something in which there is a chance of failure or success, you will have a chance to gain skill.
