Well the very first part of the op was only for taming, no combat of any sort.

Yeah but is this template better than a stun mage?
And can we get an archery buff?

I don't see how you can be effective at taming nightmares or ww with out it unless you brought help

80/80 is the lowest skill needed to stun and yes the chances may be lower (not sure exact percentages) but I believe it also has a lot to do with how much dex u have so I run it with 45 dex plus a agil pot making it 65 dex and it works well enough to get the job done.

I like this. You're thinking outside the box. But I can't imagine rolling with no magery. Plus I'm not sure but I think a lot of the T2A taming spots you can't send a gate there, right?

Also don't forget a well made gate bot can make travel (I use all the time on my dexxers) no problem at all
