This mod is not good for server. Please no download!

I brought this file up with Telamon and after quickly looking at it said it just over-accelerates UO (my words not his).
As a result it causes lots of synch problems and due the nature of the program...
Be very easy for someone to put malware code inside and anonymously share it as a legit version.

He may make a thread on this soon.
But just a heads up...

Yes I spoke to Telamon a few minutes ago in chat and he advised against using it for a variety of very good reasons so I would advise not to even download it. Cool idea tho!

hm i had no idea of this, in the thread i found there were lots of posts and nothing from staff suggesting it was any less legal to use than the art mods but i will remove the link and stop using untill i get a new word on it,since it was 2 years ago,things may have changed. Thanks for the heads up.

i would wait for staff to re-evaluate this. 2+ years ago it was not considered an issue and was promoted in the thread and used to great success by myself and otthers outside the US to remove the choppy running that especially occours on horseback while running but untill this is re-evaluated by staff im not using it and i would do as hiji said and others and wait for staff to post on it, it might have been considered okay back then but maybe new information or rules will make it not okay,or okay but not recommended. Either way i would not use the program and i removed the link,and its not an UO experience altering difference not using it anyway. UO on dial up compared to UOR, its like your living ontop of the server. Play it safe. Let staff re-evaluate. Untill then i removed the link,and i couldnt find the thread so atleast it hasnt been bumped and will be hard for anyone to find in the meantime. But if staff wants me to try and dig or see if i have the bookmark of the thread here on the forum somewhere,i can look and give a PM.

but i wont post the link here or in private and again suggest to anyone that found it interesting or a good fix for those experiencing higher than average latency, to not use it or share the link either. At worst, it could get you banned if it is no longer allowed. Beyond that i can only apologize, all i can say is when i found the thread a long time ago it was considered the same as client art mods and it also contained some of russels mini dragon art mods etc. I certainly did not mean to post something thats no longer considered ok. I have not spoken or been spoken to by telamon so im just gonna go by what you guys wrote and wait.

my conversation with him was not alarming in any way.
so even if it was illegal to use, I think he would just put out a warning thread giving people a warning ahead of time.
the day that I messaged him about it, he had already dealt with 20+ synch issues as a result from program [If I recall correctly].
