Hello UOR!

Recently there was a taming quest ran that consisted of mainly newer players, as it happened the person hosting the event FAILED and was unable to deliver the bond slots.
For unknown reasons, said player only refunded 50% of the 175k fee to each player who paid to join in leaving each player 87k in the hole!
I am creating this auction to attempt to recover as much of this loss for the 10 players mentioned below, the proceeds will be split between all 10 of the members.


I am shooting for 875k for this auction to cover 100% of the needed gold to pay back all the players.

Are the maps yours? Am I missing something?

Yes, you failed a quest. Shit happens. I have lost a shitton of money too in failed ventures (both IG and IRL), and you know what, you make it right and move on.

He is selling his maps at the price he wants. He and Ariadne are putting up THEIR pixels to cover people who were left out in the cold for whatever reason. He never once mentions you or attacks you, and yet you feel compelled to come into his thread and demand (?) him not to overcharge for HIS maps.

Isn't that what he's doing by putting up HIS 2 maps for sale?

And what forum rule is he breaking exactly?

I love that you had an auction to replace 87.5k for a group of tamers who could make this in 1-2 hours.

Principal or not, this is ridiculous.

Why doesn't dude just refund the full amount, then everyone team up to get the quest animals again and have another go around?

It's a nice gesture and completely his choice.

Most of us were left wondering the same thing, but this didn't seem to be an option for whatever reason.

Let's ignore the dollar ammount here, UOR trade forums is supposed to be a safe place against scams, which not refunding a failed quest absolutely is.
