So I am just reading the UOR's bulk order deed system on: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=568

Let me get this straight. If I want to get as many high level BODS as I can, I would have to create 3 GM characters, for that profession; one on each account? This is a bit excessive, do people do this to maximise their bod crafting? - As opposed to getting only 1 bod every 6 hours.

    Yes people do this.

I think it's just silly too.

Well, you can do that, OR you can get a fresh bod for every one you turn in. I tend to collect for a while or buy bulk. Then I fill about 10-20+, and I turn them in one at a time and get a new one for each.

I only have two tailor/smiths, but several people have 3.

Blaise, you get a new BOD when you turn a completed BOD in? I have never gotten this on my tailor after turning in an order. What is the trick?

You are able to request a new one, but you don't automatically get one -- its a two step process. Turn in a BOD for rewards, then request a new bod. If you forget to request a bod before turning in the next, that 'opportunity' is lost.

^^ Yep. Basically, turning in a BOD immediately resets your timer. Just request one like usual.

    Cool,

Tossing up whether to focus primary income on bard-mage solely, or fill bods.. Perhaps both.

Plus it looks like smithy bods have better rewards also!

I would make both bard and tailor. Bods are tedious and can drive even the most stable of mind to the brink of madness. If you plan to flip bods, you'll need a source of income to buy your regular leather. You'll also need some way to gather bones and special (spined/horned/barbed) leather. Play your bard between filling out orders.
And yes, if you plan to do tailor bods for main $$ income, then make 3 tailors.

I didn't know you got a new bod for completing one, glad I read this thread (I have having to have 3 of the same chars just to farm those things too)

I found myself slipping in to madness when it came to BS bods. So, until I have a more stable time to play, I am just hoarding them.

If you do a pile of bods for turning in, make sure you wait to turn in until you get your normal bod.

I always forget and turn them in before my 6 hr timer is up and cheat myself out of 1 bod. Ex: get bod at 9am, get bod at 4 pm, immediately turn in 20 bods generating new ones.

If you turn in your bods at 3pm, you must wait to 9pm to get another.

Make sure you start your bod guys with 50 tailor 50 smith.. you will want to to get both eventually.

Also, it will realistically cost you 150k~ to make three tailors.. that is only 38 sold bods. Even if you aren't flipping for money, many people will pay 4k for ones that they need.

    You've only been cheating yourself.

Turning in a filled BOD, resets the 6 hour timer, every single time. The method of turning in bods should be: Drop filled bod on vendor, immediately say "Order status". Repeat process with as many BODs as you have to turn in.

The moment you turn in a BOD, you are eligible to collect another -- this is what people refer to when they talk about 'BOD flipping'.

This topic seems ripe to win the Guide competition. I may just have to work on one of these.
