    Hello people! :D

Im new to uo. Planing to make fencer toon. I have couple of questions :D

1- as a fencer do i need to wear leather armor or plate armor? Will it effect my attack speed?

2- do you suggest sw over fencing?

3-how can ı level my poisoning skill (for aplying poison to my weapon)? Do i need magery?

    Thanks!:D

    1. Plate will affect your attack speed (which comes from dexterity) no matter which melee style you choose.

    2. Depends on what you want to use your melee style for.

    3. You use poison bottles by clicking poison skill then click bottle then click weapon. I don't think macing weapons can be poisoned, so keep that in mind. No magery needed.

    You're welcome! :D

    Heya and WELCOME TO UOR!

Your template sounds fun thus far. I wonder, what will you use arms lore for specifically?

You do not need armslore to apply poison. You only require an adequate amount of poisoning skill that coincides with the level of poison used.

You may look up each skill individually for some research on our UO Renaissance web page via the search function.

you don't need armslore for the poison skill and I would drop it. With that dropped and 1 skill slot still open...I would suggest something like hiding/magery, or music/provoke. I would honestly do the provoke way first since this will be your first char and it will be a money maker for sure...good for making money, instances, events, etc. Could even drop poisoning for magery like a lot of folks. But, if you are pvp'ing then keep the poisoning since that will add a little diversity to the overused 2 mage pvp templates.

Drop Armslore for Resist Spells and add Margery for getting around and panic heals (and for cast poison)

    Very fun template

For armor, you want the best AR without Dex loss:

    Chain tunic
    Chain legs
    Ring sleeves
    Ring gloves
    Studded leather gorget
    Helm: closed, bassinet, Norse

(Barbed bone is also a choice, but as it cannot be repaired the traditional way, only with powder of Fortifying, it's really expensive to maintain)

You should have at least 60 magery so you can recall. Running everywhere is tiring and a lot of good places you won't really be able to get to. 60 mage/40 meditation is a good choice. Tho higher magery is nice so you can mark runes.
