hey guys, i just found the hell hounds and imps in the occlo dungeon and it said they were not tameable despite the UOR website bestiary showing them to be as well as it being the case on other shards i've played on... is this specific to this dungeon or is the entire shard like this? really hoping it's the former, although i'll still be disappointed since i already got myself all worked up when i found them. if it's the latter, my disappointment will know no bounds and i'll ask if it's era accurate...
If I remember correctly, nothing in the newbie dungeon is tamable anymore. so to answer your question, yes, they are, but not in the Ocllo dungeon.
Only a few things have a taming restriction in the Ocllo area. This is mostly to discourage afk taming of those creatures by players under the protection of young status. This will be changed down the road as taming will remove some of the protection a young player recieves disallowing the no risk taming situations, but still allowing the player to tame those animals. (This restriction only applies to a few spots (Hell hounds, Mongbats, etc), taming on the island is completely allowed)
