I don't know who the actual person to sell me the horse was. The characters name was Enzo and he used the default UOR_XXXX username in IRC.

The trade went down legit, I have nothing unusual or unfair to report. If things were done or said on these forums by others or something fishy occurred, I'm not the one going to do the sleuth work. I'm happy with my new pixel.

Also, it's "true" value is 10M because I chose to pay that much for it, I really want it. I have deep pockets and 10M is a drop in the bucket for me. For others this thing might not be worth 500gp or it may actually be worth 30M.

I will say this. Deathboy did entertain my 1k plat offer in IRC but claimed he had a standing offer of 30M for his horse. I told him that I didn't value the horse at more than 1k plat and that he should have taken that 30M and ran. Apparently that 30M didn't actually exist and he may have been trying to get me to leak some more plat his way.

Not sure why anyone would lie about private offers they may or may not have. I mean, I understand why, but at the end of the day it leaves egg on your face when we don't take the bait.

The horse was on Cookie Monster, the very next day Cookie Monster was Enzo (same outfit, hair, and title, different name) and denied being Cookie Monster. This is some of the dumbest shit I've seen so far. Oh and there's a [young] character named Cookie Monster running around.

My post wasn't an attempt to gouge players for gold but I do agree it was wrong for me to kid around on a trade post. I was drawn in by all the ridiculous post before mine.

Shill bidding and faking deals to drive up perceived value of items is pretty fucking shitty SteelyDan. Same thing that chump Stranger did on an auction for a house that was listed way over value. He took the minimum bid, like 60k over deed value and promptly re-deeded the property that same day. His entire intention was to "show" the people saying it wasn't worth that much, that it was. It obviously wasn't, just like the fucking horse.

I'll get over it but I certainly won't trust much of what you do or say in trade forums anymore, as well as Creager, whoever the hell he is or was.
