    Well they were sometimes known as the twelve peers. Historically they were the foremost members of Charlemange's court although many of their most famous exploits are largely fictitious representing martial superiority over the Sarascen hordes.

    i cannot think of a more boring thing to do in the game and im pretty sure people were just warning you before you get all annoyed of the large groups competing for garbage lol. Its a headache on top of a headache, a headache squared?

    It is older than that, I believe. The concept used to refer to Roman officials, running around the Palatine Hill all day. So it basically means that you work in a posh neighbourhood.
