How To Setup a Title Bar Using Razor: In Razor, navigate to the Displays/Counters Tab and Click on the "Add..." Button on the bottom left. This will bring up this box: Enter in the appropriate information using the "Target" Button in Razor: Notice that in the "Format:" box I put in "pp" for Purple Potion. This abbreviation can be whatever you want it to be, but it is important to remember it for the following steps as it is what Razor uses. Click "Okay". Now you need to check the Check Box to include it in the Title Bar: Next, you need to go over to the Text Box on the right where it says: "Title Bar Display". In this box you will need to add {pp} to tell Razor to Display Purple Potions in your title bar. Again, this is whatever you entered in the "Format:" box above. Now you should start to see Purple Potions in your Ultima Online Client Title Bar. Enjoy!
Re: Razor Title Bar Setup Using second age screenies for your UO:R guide, for shame!!!! Just kidding, awesome guide. Thanks!
Some more good info for making Title Bars work... For Windows 7 Users.... Right Click on the Razor program and go to Properties. Go to the Compatibility tab. Make your settings look like this: This helps fix many issues with Razor and Windows 7.
I've seen screenshots where people have bandage timers in the bar...do you know how to accomplish that as well? I've always wanted it but have no clue how it was done.
{bandage} is the razor specific code for displaying that. So in the Display/Counters tab of razor, there is a "Title Bar Display" text box. Simply Copy/Paste in {bandage},with the curly brackets, where you want it to come up in your title bar. Make sure you have "Show this in the UO title bar" checked.
The other thing to note on the bandage timer. You have to use the Bandage Self hotkey/macro within Razor for the bandage timer to work. It's on the Hot Keys tab in Razor, in the left panel, under Hot Keys->Items you will see a "Bandage Self". Highlight that and set a hot key for it on the right hand side.
Other useful items I like to put up there are {AR} for armor and {Gold} for gold (duh), and {weight}/{maxweight} for your weight. You can add custom text to as well such as: Code - Armor: {AR} Display - Armor: 20 Gold: {Gold}gp Gold: 123gp Spacing between items is displayed so separating is easy. I like to put a big space between my regs and potions so I can quickly find them on the bar. Any item can be added with an image (My smith has ingots and tinker tools on there for his macro)
Aye, there are many 'hard-coded' razor items to display. Here's some of them: {char} {shard} {str} {hp} {hpmax} {dex} {stam} {stammax} {int} {mana} {manamax} {weight} {maxweight} {gold} {ar} {tithe} {bandage} {statbar} {mediumstatbar} {largestatbar} {CrimTime} {stealthsteps} You can also change the color in the Title Bar using the HTML HEX Color Codes. Do a browser search to find a table if you're not sure what color is what. Razor uses this convention to color text in the Title Bar: ~#FF0000 Your Text ~#~ The ~#FF0000 starts the coloring of text and the ~#~ ends the coloring of text.
You could pay tithing in gold at a shrine and gain tithing points that worked kind of like mana for chivalry spells. It was basically paying tithing to some church and whatever deity would grant you abilities. I do have an issue. I can get my title bar counters to work just fine but for some reason, I can no longer get the images to display. I have poked around everywhere but it is beyond me... While working on this I even accidentally got my UOAM to work again. *chuckle* It worked fine but would not draw the map. It does now. Sadly, I cant get my little pictures to work for regs etc. Any ideas?
There is an option in razor for "display images", I think it's under Display/Counter tab. Additionally, the window the game actually runs in needs to have certain Vista/7/8 features disabled. Right click razor icon, go to properties, select the Compatibility tab, and check "Disable visual themes". While you are there, make sure "run this as administrator" is checked, and that "Compatibility" is set for Windows XP, service pack 3.
Yep, all checked and done correctly... Thank you for your time though. I have futzed with this WAY more than I should have already. Seems like such a simple thing... And yet... It still eludes me. Thank you again.
