Long time returning player here (It's been nearly two decades). Honestly I'm really just looking for a fun group to play with, and I usually played a thief as a main in the OSI days. Hopefully going to get into treasure hunting and all that as well. Cheers for any info!
The other quality bard guilds (5-D et al) have merged with cA. chumbucket and Associates [cA] is a caring guild that looks out for the well being of animals, helps train new players, organizes shard events, upholds justice, performs honest brokering services, crafts fine papuan wares, audits home security and safety, and handles domestic disputes within the AFK guild, among other things. You can submit an application to join, but there is no guarantee of acceptance. In fact, we reject almost all applications and requests we receive. We select players who actively play with us even if they aren't part of our guild, who are helpful, mature, and express the same interests that we do. You don't need to be a bard to join cA, we have many types of players who enjoy many different things, but we all use these skills when called on to perform our duties and drink fortified wines. We want you do already enjoy and engage in the types of things we do, and ideally document it so we can see. We don't take "alts", so your "thief character" cannot join. We take people who are interesting in "barding" as a main playstyle and who fit with our group as we just want to have fun and play wizard games. If you're the type of player we want, you'll know how to find us, we are very active. Edit: You must also have a love for elevated rattan walkways and jade green swamps.
As an artist, a lover of music and safety, and a recent escapee from Yew prison, I am very happy to know that this exists. I will surely keep an eye out for you all on my adventures! Hopefully I'll have a chance to partake in some escapades that I can write about. Keep spreading the happiness.
