Jupiter sat in the Paws tower pondering at the ledgers. While it is true that wizards are most excellent at organizing adventures, rallying companions to fight evil, leading people to their dea... rrrr helping them live forever in stories, this particular wizard was not terribly good at financial reconciliations. If he had been able to cast Vas Ylem Anum Lor, he might have seen that nearly 80% of the budget was spent on tomato soup alone - not a variety of soups - just tomato soup. As he perplexed on how to fund the village, he heard a knock at the door. He stood from his desk to see who was calling. He opened the door to an invisible guest, or rather, a guest who had vanished. He noticed the mailbox torch was alight, and opened it up. To his great astonishment, the invisible guest had left a most gracious endowment! Thank you to the anonymous donor! Also, note that this was sitting in my mailbox for a full 1 or 2 days! It amuses me that it sat there and was not 'discovered' by any nefarious folk! To any other anonymous donors, please leave a message with a place to meet to avoid any potential risk of 'mailer' frauds!
Wow! Congratulations! You've been awarded extra loot! Be a true hero and donate some to a poor NPC family, spend the rest on yourself. You've earned it!
Holy Moses! First thing this evening I will add a mailbox to my small shack! Its located northeast of Britain (right beside the road to Minoc/Vesper). Anonymous Donator: Pls do not take the left small house! Its the house of a RL friend I know very well! He will probably spent all that plat to get booze! Thank you very much in advance! BTW: I ran by that tower yesterday evening while checking for dark wolves! Could bite my ass right now
Rofl! Ah shit! Did you try the door? I left the key on the stairs! (Can't remember if it was the copper one or the large silvery one).
*hearing passerbys speaking of donations, Ragar looks up from his bowl of tomato soup* WooHoo!!! I'm going to order the good stuff now. No more generic brands for the free people of Paws!!
indeed. The true purpose of the mailbox is for written correspondences only. Should any other anonymous donors want to provide support for Paws adventures please send a message for how to meet up or leave the item(s) in the secure armoirs (most folk who have adventured with me are friended to the tower and should be able to use them). Now I have to get back to ordering a year's supply of lentils and and vegetable soup!
I used to sneak in some chain letters and Publishers Clearing House junk mail in @Alice Asteroid 's mailbox for laughs
