Give me advice on what to farm as a solo player (TankMage)

Hello dear community,

I recently started to play and need to get my gold up.

Can someone give me some advice on where to farm for good gold per hour with my tankmage? I know that it's not the optimal PVE-farm-build.. I don't want to play a provobuild either.

So where do i go and farm? Im using Blade Spirits on humanoids in Occlo dungeon atm.

Is EV viable for farming here on harder mobs?

Blade Spirits + Arctic Ogre Lords in Ice Dungeon. Also a PK hotspot, but the Arctic Ogre Lords aren't spell casters so you should be able to keep magic reflect up and recall out easily. Easy, good gold/hour.

Ice dungeon would be your best bet. Like snap said, blade spirit the arctic ogre lords an dthey give nice cash and weapons, sometimes level 3 maps. It is one of the first stops on the PK Train so one thing you can do aside from the basic "have your emergency recall macro ready" skills, cast invis on yourself while you let your blade spirits do the work. With tracking busted, its harder for pk's to see someone hidden and might run past you, giving you a chance to recall away safely

Once you've gotten a few stacks of gold, stop playing that character and roll a tamer.

You'll make more money on a tamer in 1 day, then 1 week on your current build.

Arctic Ogre Lords also spawn in T2A if you exit out of the Ice Dungeon from the east exit, the spawn is a little slower and you need a T2A rune, but it's a lot safer from PK's in my experience.

Yes farm there no dirty pks check that area ever!

Lizardmen - spined leather @ 25gp each minimum
Rat men - same but a little more "engaging" (spined leather)
escort missions - if done right, not too bad for a quick startup bank roll

Just make a tamer. Everything revolves around them here.

As another option, you could complete some of the role play quests available on a few vendors around. Cero has a tower at the guard towers NW of Covetous. Also, the vendor near PAWS used to have some as well. Do what you can with the quest you buy, take a few screen shots, tell a fun story, post it in "The Salty Dog Tavern" and you will be rewarded. Not sure if it's optimal gold/hour, but if you enjoy RP, it is a good way to earn gold whilst having a good time. Best part of UO is the endless ways to have a good time. Pick yours.

I've seen it sell at 30 gp a piece...as in 1000 pieces spined leather for 30k gp.

Where can you sell spined leather?

I liked to farm Wrong Executioners on my Mages.

Sold 28k of it at 30gp a piece over the last few months. And it sells very easily at that price.

Wind, dragon and drakes spawn. City close by, cast blade spirits and invisible. Win.

can anyone confirm that GM tracking works fine ? I can actually track someone ? Im thinking to replace anatomy with tracking. I dont really use stun punch. when Im online bucs usually empty.
