Ever had the penchant to just unleash fury on that which comes into sight?

Yeah, we have all been there.
For some reason something takes hold inside, and the fury must be unleashed.
    Well,...
    A fortnight ago...

Let me start at the beginning.

I was out riding through the Spriritwood tracking down any would-be spoilers of a fine day:
local denizens that set upon unwary travelers and requiring a fight even to the death.

I had tracked some such that would require a fair amount of resourcefulness and resolve to end the terms of engagement favorably.

Having disposed of the unwanted guests of Spiritwood, I jouneyed north towards the bend of the river.

The next bit of formation to be recorded will begin to explain the title of my writing.

As I stated earlier, I journeyed north to the river's bend and spotted a hind.
Feelling a little hungry from my afternoon battle with the ogres and spiders,
I decided the hind was fair game for a late lunch or early dinner depending on your point of view.
One bolt from my fingertips and the deer fell.
In my hurry to bring the animal down, I had not really paid much attention to the quality of its hide.
But as I drew nearer, I could see the fine detail and rarity of the fur.

Now to get back to let me see,
    Where was I?
    Oh! Yes!
    The Rampage.

Later that day, I went to visit a friend who lives down around the Village of Paws.
When I arrived, he was outside sharpening his sword.

I quickly related my good fortune to him with the events earlier in the day.
When I spoke of the hide, he cocked his head back and lifted an eye.
I could see a certain, well..
shall I say a rampaging gleam.

"Oni, got time for some hunting?"

    Now you have to understand.
My friend Geoffrey doesn't usually say alot, but when he does..
Well, there is a point to his words.

    I simply replied, "Sure."

And just like that we were off.

The Rampaging of Renaissance had begun.

We rode around the outskirting area of the Village of Paws, over to the mountains to the west.
north through Spiritwood to the Hedge Maze and again west to the setlements of Project Santuary.
Everything, yes literally everything was targeted.
We barely took time to rest as we traversed the country side in search...

    Yeah, you guesed it, FURS..

Even the foul denizens on our path fell to the blows of Geoffrey's sword and the spells cast from my fingertips.

We lost track of time, the sun was beginning to set, we continued to rampage.
I was digging from the bottom of my reagent bag: my fingertips nearly numb from casting
and Geoffrey's sword arm was drooping low from all the blows.

Finally, and nearly exhausted from the running and fighting, we stopped.
    The Rampage was over.
We had cleared the entire area we had traveled.
I lost track of how many creatures fell, hundreds had fallen.

    "Get any furs," I asked.
    He simply stated, "No."
"I didn't get any either," I replied before he could ask.

And so the score at the end of the day, after rampaging Renaissance:

    Oni: Furs 1
    Geoffrey: Furs 0

    But I will admit...

    Rampaging Renaissance was really fun.
    When we going again, Geoffrey?

Every now and then it is okay to unleash a little fury. Kal Vas Flam!

I wondered what that foul stench was lingering about the woods as I rode through the other night. I was in a hurry to meet an acquaintance at an inn or I may have stopped to investigate.

*Funny story, a friend was getting back into UO so we did 4 or 5 level 1 tmaps. I think it was on the 2nd or 3rd that we found a level 7 dragon tmap. I've been mildly obsessed with them and have done hundreds since. Haven't found another level 7 yet. It's funny that you found a fur right away. Probability is a funny thing.

So it is- That probability thing. But continue to be diligent in your obsession.
For as the score now reveals there are more funny probabilities: Sometimes all it takes is to change the equation:

    Oni: 1
    Geoffrey: 1
    Elma: 1

As for the stench: Oh! So Sorry . But what can you expect from a bunch of rampagers?
    *Lifts nose to the air*
"Guress I will have to use more fire in my spells."
